About Me
I’m Mark, and I’m someone who loves being around animals (big or small!). Having had rescue dogs, cats, chinchillas and budgies of my own over the years (dogs and cats for 30 years), I understand exactly how much they mean to you. Since I no longer have pets of my own, looking after yours is the next best thing – to have that companionship back in my life. I am fully insured, DBS checked, and have a Pet First Aid Certificate.
My Experience
- 8 Years at an Animal Sanctuary: I worked in the kennels, keeping the site secure overnight and checking on animals to ensure they were calm and comfortable. I also drove the sanctuary van, safely transporting animals to and from the vets.
- Security & Responsibility: I also worked as a driver and caretaker at a school. This role involved site security checks and transporting vulnerable children - experience that has given me a strong sense of patience, reliability, and responsibility.
